Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Chemist to join our team and ensure the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. The QC Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FTIR, pH meter, and titrators.

• Follow SOPs, test methods, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Document and review laboratory data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Conduct stability testing and generate reports for regulatory submissions.

• Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot any out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.

• Maintain laboratory safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

• Assist in method development and validation when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

• 1-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing QC laboratory.

• Experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other analytical techniques.

• Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH, USP, EP, etc.).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is a plus.
